Dear friends,

We, in Pratap College are going through a phase of transition - a necessary phase in the existence of a college which is trying to grow. The college has a glorious past with recognitions from different educational agencies. The UGC has awarded us the status of 'College with Potential for Excellence' and NAAC has given us 'A+' grade after accrediting us for the third time. In the Academic Audit performed by KBC North Maharashtra University the college scored highest (88%) among 162 colleges affiliated to the university.

A very important change in the status of the college is 'Autonomy'. Friends, autonomy now provides the college the opportunity to achieve its true potential. The college is fortunate to receive grants, guidance and co-operation from Kavayitri Bahinabai Chaudhari North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon, RUSA (Rashtriya Ucchastar Shiksha Abhiyan), UGC (University Grants Commission) and the State Government with the help of all these agencies we will be able to bring about changes in teaching by making it more student centric, more out come based and more research oriented. Our aim is to make each and every student employable. For this the college has started many Certificate Courses, B.Voc. education and also an Incubation centre where students will receive guidance to start their own enterprises. We also plan to encourage outstanding students from different fields by granting fellowships and scholarships. Students will be helped financially to develop innovative ideas and to take up promising research projects.
