» CAREER COUNSELLING FOR MINORITY COMMUNITIES (CCMC)

  • The Department Was Establishment In 1998-99.
  • Under the Career Counseling Centre the ‘Department Of General Knowledge and Competitive Examination’ Was Established.
  • From 2003-04 ‘ Dnyanwardhan Granthalay Yojana’ Introduced by the Centre for Guidance of NET/SET Examination.
  • From 2006-07 Career Counseling for Minority Communities (CCMC) is started and UGC has Sanctioned Rs. 7/- lakhs for Coaching Classes of Minority Students for Entry into Services.
  • UGC was Sanctioned Aggregate Rs. 22/- lakhs for Various Schemes In Xith Plan-especially for Career Counseling Centre, Coaching Classes for NET/SET Examination and guidance and Coaching for SC/ST/OBC and Minority Communities for Entry into Services.
  • Guidance for Personality Development and Entrepreneurship Development.
  • Formation of Separate Committees for Various Schemes.
  • Coordinator : Monitors the Department allocates the Subject – Prepares the time-table for Coaching Classes and Schedule for Guidance Counseling.
  • Recommends to Purchase books and study Material for the Department Within the limits of budget allocated.
  • Career Oriented Student can purchase books, CD’s etc. as per their needs.
  • Total no. of books : 3600.
  • Total no. of journals : 06.
  • Total no. of CD’s : 75.
  • Total no. of Newspapers : 11.

There is a Separate Section for the ‘Danyanwardhan Granthalaya Yojana’ for Preparation of NET, SET, JRF Examination for Post-graduate students of the College. Internet facilities areavailable for CCMC Students Separately. Special Reading Halls both for male and female Students have been developed. Our College has set-up a good and Well-equipped library for preparation for comparative examination and personality development.

» Extra Curricular Activities

Our Centre has been Organizing Extra Curricular Activities for the student for facing new competitive challenges such as:

  • We Organize guest lectures on different subject from last 15 years.
  • We also organize daily lectures on General Knowledge for F.Y. to T.Y. classes.
  • We conduct written test examinations on general Knowledge.
  • We organize Competition in General Knowledge in G.K. Test Quiz, Group Discussion, Presentation, Essay Writing, Debating,Resume Writing etc.
  • Since 2003-04, the Department is conducting Coaching Classes for UPSC, MPSC, Banking, and NET/SET Exam. for student belonging SC / ST / OBC and Minority Community.
  • We provided guidance for campus and other interviews for recruitment. Campus Interview is organized by Training and placement cell in collaboration with outside agencies.
  • Students from all facilities are attending these Seminars, Workshop and lectures. Total 300-350 Students have benefited under these activities.
  • In 2010-11, 30-35 students have qualified for PSI Main Examination which was held on 18th September 2011.
  • In 2011-12 & 2012-13 total 8 students are selected as PSI through MPSC Exam.
